Our large, 20 quart freezers have become the standard for “Homemade Ice Cream” stands, around the country and around the world. Many of our parts are interchangeable with the older obsolete White Mountain Freezers.

Poly Tub Freezer
Country Freezer offers the popular salt/ice, ice cream freezer with a solid poly tub. No leakage, ever!
Oak Tub Freezer
Country Freezer’s traditional Heavy, 3/4″ oak tub is available in all sizes. With adjustable metal bands, the wooden tub is easy to maintain. With care, this oak ice cream freezer tub will last for years to come.
20 quart / 5 gallon Ice Cream Freezer
Country freezer offers the largest ice cream freezer in the old-style salt/ice, ice cream maker. Our 20 qt. Ice Cream Maker is a great addition to your hit and miss engine.
Poly Tub 20 quart Ice Cream Freezer
Now you can get the long-lasting poly tub with a 20 qt. freezer. This combination offers a 10 year commercial warranty! The poly tub is also available as a replacement part as well.
Electric Freezer
Our electric option provides a simple yet powerful motor to make your homemade ice cream. Our DC motor efficiently drives the freezer with regular 110v household electric. Available for the 4,6 and 8 qt size.
Tub Cover
The poly tube cover will keep your ice cream cold after churning. The tub cover allows the dasher to be left in when the cover is installed. Do you like hard ice cream? The cover is what you need to “harden” the ice cream after churning.
Ice Cream Maker Pulley Adapter
This stainless steel clutch and oil imprenated bronze bushing is the best for setting up your freezer with a belt drive. Simply take the handle off and attach the one side of the clutch. Place your pulley on the 7/8″ keyed shaft. Fits Country, White Mountain, Immergood Ice Cream Freezers.
Ice Cream Mix
Our ice cream mix is a very simple and affordable, shelf-stable mix. Used by families and for-profit ice cream stands, this mix is FDA approved and only requires cold mixing and 5 bulk ingredients.

In a small shop in rural Ohio, the Hershbergers build the Country Freezer. It started when folks with aging White Mountain 20 qt. White Mountain freezers needed more parts and new freezers. Now, several decades later, Country continues to offer a range of ice cream freezers from 2 quart to 20 quart.
If you have ever been to a festival that makes homemade ice cream, chances are, you seen one of their 20 qt. freezers in operation. Many times, a John Deere, hit and miss engine are used to power the freezer.
The hit and miss engine, coupled with a Country Ice Cream Freezer, makes an un-mistakeable sound that is sure to facinate and please your taste buds!
